Full description
The examiner demonstrates the appropriate technique for the sulcus test. The patient is positioned with the arms resting at the sides. The examiner applies an inferiorly directed force to the patient’s arm starting in a neutral position. The test result is negative if no sulcus or groove appears at the superior aspect of the humeral head.
